Challenge

Azoffoto is a freelance photography, that owned by a foreigner photographer named Azoff. Azoffoto comes from the name of Azoff and the word foto. Azoff needs brand and visual identity for her photography freelance and she asked for a vintage concept.

Solution

I make the logo of Azoffoto by using AZ as initialn in shape of triangle and rectangle. i also use it to be the shape of cropped image in the stationery and applications design.

Hotti Kultura

Challenge

Hotti Kultura is a cafe and resto that will be located near Jakarta Selatan. The concept of this cafe and resto are retro and vintage. The target market are young, friendly, hot and fashionable people.

Solution

I use a retro girl silhouette to show vintage concept. Using the colors which close to vintage, pop, fun to show the fun and fashionable theme.

Cut and Paste

Challenge

Cut and Paste is a brand for shoes straps. Shoes straps is footwear’s accessories for women that usually worn with high heels. The tarhet market of this product is middle up, and stylish-fashionable women.

Solution

I make the logo in three alternatives. The first is simply use the initial of brand name as typeface logo. The second is using the object heel with a rose as the shoe strap, with circle shape and knot lines. The third is using the same object, and with a girly font. I use the colors black, white and gold to show glamour-fashionable identity in the logo.

Packaging Design

Challenge

By the client’s request, she prefers the logo of product is just a logotype. And she requests the colors and the packaging to be more girly than glamour.

Solution

I make the logo by using handwriting and girly typeface, by playing with the typeface too. I use girly and catchy blue and red-pink to be used in the packaging design.

Carnivore

Challenge

Carnivore is a new business of selling meat. Just like butchers, and supermarkets, Carnivore will also sell great and fresh meat. But Carnivore will sell them via online. The target market are young housewives and those who usually shop in middle up markets.

Solution

To make customers and viewers understand literally, I use the object meat in my logo design. The color will be close to meat and butcher’s colors but still in exclusive and suitable for the middle up class. I make three alternatives of logo design. The first is literally shown, in clean and simple design. The second is much closer to butcher’s and vintage concept. The third, I use the object to be the letter A in the logotype of Carnivore.

Two Seven

Challenge

Two Seven is a shop that sells women footwears, especially shoes and high heels. It needs a catchy stationery design that suits with its brand.

Solution

Using the black color and catchy stabilo green as the design palette colors. I also use the object of high heels to be pattern that used as design element in stationery design’s background.

Mita Grafika

Challenge

Mita Grafika is a company that works for printing, photocopy, etc. Mita Grafika has a good and strong logo and brand colors. But it doesn’t have stationery design yet.

Solution

So I make the stationery design by using the strong brand colors. Besides, I also use the logo as element inside the stationery design to make people easily remember Mita Grafika’s logo and brand identity.

Simply Bake

Challenge

SImply Bake is a bakery that sells tarts and cakes by online shopping. The target market is middle up, as the price is not cheap. Simply Bake needs website design and especially web banner design in a very good way of design to attract customers.

Solution

I make a web banner design simply, clean, exclusive, catchy and in good readibility.

Grandwhiz Hotel

Challenge

Grandwhiz Hotel is a new hotel that will be built and located at Kelapa Gading. This hotel needs a brochure design that will be put at hotel’s lobby. The target market are the stock growers and businessmen that will visit the hotel either to plant stock or to use the hotel’s facilities.

Solution

We use very simple concept, as the design is near to corporate identity and exclusive.

Station Rasa Advertising

Challenge

Station Rasa is one of Orang Tua’s brand of candies. It was popular but it is not anymore. So our group think we need to make the new advertising design and strategies to bring it up to be popular again.

Solution

Since the target audience of Station Rasa are children so we come out from the ideas of making fun and cute advertising. Based on the nice brief we created, we made some characters of children that go in their adventure to the candy, chocolate-and everything sweet of garden and factory. We show it in print advertising, and in animated advertising with jingle and words we made our own.

Spotlight Magazine

Challenge

To make a new concept of magazine, I choose to make a fashion photography magazine. The target audiences are 18 to 25 years old, middle to high class of economy, for junior fashion photographer and for those who love fashion and photography. The challenge is to make this magazine different, and to design the layouts that mostly will contain images and pictures than text. This need good and tidy template but also not boring for audiences.

Solution

I make a main template, for some rubrics which use the same template. Some other rubrics, may use different template but still in the same grid and line. So the magazine will still have a still conceptual line and not boring for audiences.
